We are looking for full-time seasonal Landscapers to join our team in Winnipeg and the Interlake. The position is hands-on and on-site. Key responsibilities include the day-to-day tasks required to execute and complete a wide range of outdoor landscaping projects with a focus on quality, professionalism, and customer service. 

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, responsible, and a hard worker. They are willing to learn new skills and work well within a team. Workplace safety is an always-on priority. Job description

As a Landscaper, you will:

  • Follow company policies and procedures including our Safety Policy
  • Represent Spruce Acres with friendly professionalism, integrity, and energy
  • Pursue personal growth mindset, and participate in training programs
  • Build landscaping projects with materials, tools, and equipment provided
  • Work in a range of outdoor weather conditions
  • Operate power tools and heavy equipment
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Lift and move heavy items
  • Conduct and participate in customer site visits
  • Record and submit timesheets and expenses as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

You and your experience:

  • Landscaping, construction or farming experience preferred
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Maintain a Class 5 driver’s license
  • Have transportation to and from job sites
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
  • Self-motivated and responsible
  • Must provide and wear CSA approved Footwear

Other information:

  • Generally, we work 8–10 hours per day, Monday–Friday
  • Your contact information will be shared with other employees as needed 
  • You may appear in photos on our social media accounts and other marketing
